Set for a December 1st release. Footlocker posted their review of the
Air Jordan 1 Anodized University Blue/Black-White shoe
. - The sample pictured here is slightly different from the release, with the white outsole being replaced by a navy translucent finish. The
AJ 1 Anodized
gives a foamposite molded finish to the classic Jordan 1. Other colors of the Anodized also releasing in 2010 are varsity red and reflective silver. To “anodize” is a chemical process that makes metal easier to paint, and the finish on these models has the sheen of painted metal. This metallic/foamposite finish, originally debuted in 1997 on Penny Hardaway’s Foamposite One, has been steadily applied to different classic silhouettes including the Air Force 1 and Nike Blazer.
